A space for emerging landscape designers to connect, learn, and grow together.
Starting out in landscape design can feel isolating.
You're working on your first projects, figuring things out, making decisions you're not entirely sure about. Your peers are scattered. Senior designers are busy. There's no space to just... talk about the work.
We're building a casual community for young landscape designers — a place to meet, share experiences, learn from each other, and feel less alone in this.
We organize occasional gatherings — format depends on what people need at the moment.
Some ideas we're exploring:
Bring work-in-progress, show it to peers and experienced designers, get feedback. Not formal critique — more like "here's what I'm working on, what do you think?"
Coffee, chat, talk about projects, challenges, tools you're using. No agenda, just connecting with people doing similar work.
Someone shows how they approach planting design. Someone else shares their rendering workflow. Informal knowledge exchange.
Walk a project together, discuss design decisions on the ground.
Occasional chat with experienced designers — ask questions, hear their path, learn from their mistakes.
We don't have a fixed program. We're figuring this out together based on what the group needs.
You're in the right place if:
Whether you're confident or struggling, working on big projects or small ones, doing it "right" or making it up as you go — doesn't matter. This is a learning space.
Senior designers who want to hang around and share experience — you're welcome too. We need your perspective.
We're just getting started. First gathering coming soon.
Next event: [TBA]
Format: [Probably casual meetup + project review]

We've been doing landscape design for a while now. We remember what it was like starting out — exciting but lonely, figuring everything out alone.
We wanted to create the space we wish existed when we were beginning.
Not a formal program. Not a mentorship scheme with applications and structure. Just a group of people learning this craft together.
If that sounds good to you, join us.
