The Vision
Following the completion of a new, modern home, the existing garden no longer matched its architecture. The client wished to completely reimagine the plot, transforming it from a standard lot into a contemporary, spacious, and cozy oasis for a city getaway.
Our Solution
We began with a strategic clearing of old plantings to make way for a new spatial logic. In one corner of the plot, we designed a zone for a sauna complex and a tidy kitchen garden. The heart of the revitalized garden became a new gazebo with a barbecue area, framed by a conifer composition and a lush mixed border that artfully conceals the fence. To create a sense of order and comfort, we separated the recreational area from the kitchen garden with a green hedge and decorative arches. Given the plot's complex geometry and the proximity of neighboring structures, creating privacy was a key objective. We solved this with vertical greenery: pergolas draped in wild grapevines and the planting of fastigiate (narrow-crowned) trees.
